Who am I

My name is Deon, I studied art and design, and developed a deep knowledge of my preferred medium – ink, it is my approach that separates my work from others.

I am a creative by day and by night. As a graphic designer and illustrator, I am responsible for a number of projects with deadlines and specific conceptual deliverables; as an artist I am able to explore other subjects of interest. As a pet portrait artist, I get to freely enjoy the expression of my subject’s character and of course the expression of my client when receiving the final drawing. How I interpret the picture from which I work makes it all the more unique. Working in a loose playful style I achieve a relatively realistic impression, however, if one is wanting realism, a photograph would be best, but if one is looking for an artistic rendering by a skilled hand then you have come to the right place.
